| The Groton Lions Club was founded in 1929 by local businessmen who desired to give to the community. That tradition has been carried on since then by local men and women who desire to give to those who are less fortunate. We, the Groton Lions, give: donations to the alcohol and drug free graduation party, two high school scholarships, eye glasses and hearing aids for the needy, donations for diabetes research, aid to those with macular degeneration, and more. |
